I love going to art glass sites and trolling around for unique items for the holidays. The best thing about art glass is that generally the objects you buy are not easily found on the market and chances are often good that you will receive compliments and questions about where you got such awesome works of art. The art is more pricey then going to walmart, but lets face it art glass has a class and solidness that cannot be duplicated. I myself tend toward mixing cutsey pieces I have found cheaper with a few expensive art pieces. They go together remarkably well.

I am attempting to convince people that there is another place to buy items beside Wal-Mart. There is a place for Wal-Mart, but there is also a place for people who want to purchase a tasteful and distinctive gift. More expensive pieces deserve to be considered seriously for gifts.
